I’m Jim Biggs, founder of Biggs Creative Learning — an instructional design and learning strategy studio built on one simple belief: great learning should feel as engaging as it is effective.
With a background that spans teaching, coaching, and corporate learning, I’ve spent my career exploring how people learn best. From the classroom to the training floor to the retail sales floor, I’ve seen firsthand that when learning connects to emotion and purpose, it drives real performance.
I’m based in St. Louis — a teacher at heart, a creative by trade, and a coach by nature. My passion for learning extends beyond business; it’s in every volleyball practice I run, every workshop I facilitate, and every project I design. My family keeps me grounded, my team inspires me, and my curiosity drives me forward.

My story began in education — years of teaching and coaching taught me the value of clarity, connection, and motivation. As technology reshaped how we teach and learn, I transitioned into instructional design and corporate training, blending the mindset of an educator with the tools of a creative technologist.
That journey led to partnerships with innovative companies like Resident Home (brands like Nectar and DreamCloud) and Naturepedic, where I design interactive, story-driven training that helps retail teams sell with confidence and authenticity. Whether it’s onboarding new hires or launching a new product line, my goal is the same: make learning that sticks — and sells.

At Biggs Creative Learning, every project starts with three principles:
I don’t just build courses — I design experiences that connect learners to purpose, build confidence, and inspire action.

Biggs Creative Learning partners with organizations that value creativity and impact — from national retail brands to education-focused startups. Some of our proudest collaborations include:
Each partnership is unique, but the goal remains constant: to elevate people through meaningful learning.
